I don’t know about you but I don’t get many trick or treaters these days. I usually go to a Halloween party or there’s a party at school or a Harvest Festival at church.
While I give out individually wrapped candies at my front door, I feel I can relax a bit and make a homemade treat when I go to a party where I know the people there.
A good, easy treat that goes a long way is a trail-mix-type-snack but with a Halloween flair. Most of the ingredients are easy to find at the grocery store and I’ve suggested some fun Halloween-y ingredients that you can find on Amazon with the link I’ve included.
You can just mix the ingredients together or you can coat the ingredients with melted chocolate, peanut butter or a combination to create a “puppy chow” or “muddy buddy” type mix. Here are some fun ingredients you can choose from:
Ingredients
Edible Halloween Variety Sprinkles
Candy Corn
Bugles (to put on fingers like claws)
Halloween colored M&Ms
Chex cereal
Pretzels
Candy Pumpkins
Boo Berry Cereal
Count Chocula Cereal
Frankenberry Cereal
Cupcakes, Cookies, & Other Treats
If you only have a few people at the party, and you’re in the mood to bake, you can make cupcakes and/or cookies. You can make popcorn balls, Rice Krispie Treats, and cookie bars. And if you want to wrap them for giving out individually, here are some cute Halloween treat bags and boxes to make your treats extra special.
