My son named our house, The Lib Crib. The home where my husband and I raised our 2 kids was more of a workshop, art studio, and lab than anything else. Each of us were and still are creatives with our unique interests and explorations.
Over the years, the Lib Crib has changed and expanded. Our kids have their own homes and families where they are creating their own version of The Lib Crib. My husband and I, now retired, have a crib that welcomes our 6 Grands.
Whatever the time or place, The Lib Crib is characterized by a few foundational ideas: Our home is a place of peace and freedom. We don’t stand on formality. You can take a nap, read, eat a sandwich, or make something. Everyone is creative because you were made in the image of The Creator. Peace is vital. Life is beautiful. You are awesome.
